Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Kigali and transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, you’ll be greeted by your guide and transferred to your accommodation. Take some time to relax and acclimate to the surroundings. Around midday, you will transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park and transfer to Kigali

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters where you’ll receive a briefing about gorilla trekking etiquette and safety. With a skilled guide, begin your trek into the misty rainforest in search of a gorilla family. The trek duration can vary, but the encounter with these gentle giants is an awe-inspiring experience. Spend an hour observing and photographing the gorillas as they go about their daily activities. Later, you will emback on your journey to Kigali city.

Day 3: Transfer to Akagera National Park

Very early in the morning, drive East-wards to Akagera National Park and amback on a thrilling game drive in Akagera National Park. Traverse through the varied landscapes, from grassy plains to papyrus swamps, and enjoy the enchanting scenery. After a picnic lunch, take a boat safari along Lake Ihema, observing hippos, crocodiles, and water birds up close.
